The Joint Venture with “Thomas Cook” Germany, the second largest European Tour Operator.

SUNRISE Resorts & Nile Cruises was established in the year 2002 due to the booming development in the travel and tourism industry in Egypt for all incoming markets; with the parameter target for:

• Quality Products,
- First line on the beach
- Five and Four stars standards

• The main mission statement for SUNRISE Resorts & Nile Cruises are:
- To assure quality guest service, with an evaluation on a monthly basis through the SQS (SUNRISE Quality System)
- To provide food, beverage and other services according to the international certified and monthly audited hygiene and safety standards, in cooperation with “Crystal” a UK based worldwide acting company specialized in the sanitation and hygiene filled under the guidelines of the HACCP concept.

• Operate all Resorts and Nile Cruises under environmental criteria and therefore a global agreement has been signed with the “Green Globe 21” company, an Australian based worldwide active environmental screening and certifying agencies specialized in the hospitality and tourism industry. So far SUNRISE Garden Beach has been certified and until the end of 2005 all SUNRISE Resorts & Nile Cruises will be certified according to “Green Globe 21” standards.

History

Established in 2002 as a partnership between Thomas Cook and Blue Sky Group; SUNRISE Resorts & Nile Cruises operates under the leadership of its Chairman Hossam Gouda El Shaer. The company operates 5 cruise ships based in Luxor – Upper Egypt, a privately owned dock and an oriental restaurant "Habiba Restaurant”; opened 2004. In addition to 6 resorts in Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh:

Hurghada Resorts
:

• SUNRISE El Mamlouk Palaca Resort; 500 rooms
• SUNRISE Holidays Resort; 384 rooms (completely refurnished in 2005)
• SUNRISE Garden Beach Resort; 452 rooms
• SUNRISE Royal Makadi 5 Stars with 481 rooms in Makadi Bay

Sharm El Sheikh Resorts
:

• SUNRISE Island View Resort; 492 rooms
• SUNRISE Island Garden Resort, 295 rooms

Total capacity of approximately 3,000 rooms.

Future Expansion Hotels:

• SUNRISE Sharm El Shiekh 5 Stars approximately 500 rooms in Nabq Bay scheduled to open early 2006
• SUNRISE Hurghada 460 rooms 4 Stars + scheduled for opening Summer 2006
• SUNRISE Marsa Alam scheduled for opening late 2006 & 2007
